WHAT IS THE BORROW PROGRAM?
Borrow is a one-time rental experience with The Ensemble that lets you rent an item with the option to purchase if desired.
HOW DOES THE BORROW PROGRAM WORK?
Select an item to borrow on the Altuzarra website. You will then be redirected to The Ensemble to complete the checkout process. You will receive your borrowed item, which can be returned at any time using the prepaid mailer or purchased at a discounted price.
WHY DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON THE ENSEMBLE?
The Ensemble is a separate platform from the Altuzarra website, so you will need to provide your email, shipping address, and credit card to place an order. If you have any questions, please visit The Ensemble FAQs.
HOW LONG CAN I BORROW AN ITEM FOR?
The borrow period is noted on your order summary. You can check when your borrow period is ending from the "My Borrowed Items" section of The Ensemble. You can also choose to extend your borrow period for a daily fee.
CAN I PURCHASE AN ITEM DURING MY BORROW PERIOD?
Yes. You can purchase the item directly from the "My Borrowed Items" section on The Ensemble. Click the "Buy Item" button and confirm the purchase. The item will be charged to the card we have on file. Once the item is purchased, we will move the item to your "History" section.
WHICH STYLES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE BORROW PROGRAM?
Borrow is available for select clothing items.
WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY STAIN OR DAMAGE AN ITEM?
Signs of normal wear are expected—there are no additional fees for minor damage.
AM I WEARING CLOTHES THAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE WORN?
Items may have previously been borrowed by others, but are all maintained in like-new condition. Each item is meticulously cleaned and inspected three times after every borrow.
THE GARMENT I BORROWED HAS A HANGTAG ATTACHED, CAN I REMOVE IT?
Yes, please remove the hangtag prior to wearing the garment. Please do not remove the garment label.
IS THE BORROW PROGRAM AVAILABLE IN ALTUZARRA STORES?
Currently, Borrow is only offered online. You can borrow an item on altuzarra.com and either buy it to keep or send it back via USPS when you are done. You may not return borrowed items to stores.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BORROW AN ITEM?
The cost to borrow varies per item and can be found on each product page.
WHICH PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept standard MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit and debit cards for all of our payments. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
DELIVERY
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
We offer complimentary shipping. You’ll receive a separate prepaid return bag to return your borrowed item. Delivery takes 2–4 business days in most cases.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We currently serve customers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
HOW DO I RETURN MY BORROWED ITEM?
In the "My Borrowed Items" section on The Ensemble, click the "Return Item" button to let us know you are sending your item back. Then simply place the item in the prepaid return bag that was provided to you along with your order. Notifying your return ends your borrow period automatically. If you misplace your bag, please email support@theensemble.me to receive a new prepaid label.
